Even at 3pm on a Thursday, the stores downtown all are busily assisting patrons during the oldest tradition in Columbia. Over 30 locations are participating in the coordinated sale, which runs NOW through the WEEKEND.
"Business is great! Which was a shock, because we're normally not busy in the morning," said Elly of Elly's Couture. Everything from vintage dress shoes, to Blue Note merch, to camera equipment, and even fragrances are all on sale.
