If you missed The District flu shots a couple weeks ago, you may have a second chance if you're a Chamber member.
For several years the Columbia Chamber of Commerce has partnered with WELLAWARE at Boone Hospital Center to provide influenza vaccinations (flu shots) for Chamber member small businesses and their employees. Flu shots at the Chamber of Commerce are scheduled this year for Thursday, November 5 from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. The cost per person is $25. Shots will be given on a first-come, first-served basis and payment must be completed at time of service. WELLAWARE accepts cash, check, MasterCard, VISA, Discover and Medicare.
Please note, this covers the yearly seasonal flu shots, NOT the H1N1 shots.
