Just a friendly reminder:
The Columbia Police Department is increasing traffic enforcement in the downtown area, both for cars and bikes. They've found that too many people are speeding, running lights and failing to yield to pedestrians.
They're also teaming up with PedNet to issue warnings to cyclists riding at night without lights. PedNet's also offering free bike lights to these folks for a limited time.
